In 2001, German musician Simon Köhler hand-coded his first website (cyrcus.com) to promote his band. The technical problem-solving and creative control sparked an immediate turning point: he left his career as a skilled craftsman to study media design, earning formal certification from the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).

That craftsman mindset—meticulous attention to detail, robust structural integrity, and zero tolerance for sloppy execution—became the core philosophy behind every line of code we write today.

For nearly twenty years, Simon operated as an elite senior developer embedded with top-tier European advertising agencies. Delivering complex digital infrastructure for multinational corporations—including industry giants like Volkswagen—he built a reputation as a leading authority in enterprise architecture and high-security CMS platforms like TYPO3.

During this era, enterprise web development was about building heavy, unbreakable systems. That deep foundational experience in database management, server operations, and backend engineering now provides the backbone for our modern deployments.

As software development entered the AI era, KohlerCode expanded its scope from traditional development to autonomous systems. We founded KOHLERCODE LLC to bridge the gap between enterprise web development and artificial intelligence.
